create energy together

Posted on: March 28th, 2011 by alyssa miserendino No Comments

it's about that time, & i'm looking to hire a creative, yet very organized part-time studio assistant. finding a connection is key — i thrive on creating, and i'm at a point where a momentum of incredible opportunities have fallen into my lap (including teaching & consulting on interiors). i am looking to share, grow, teach & learn … perhaps you are too?

i am primarily seeking someone who is interested in doing quite a bit of post processing, data entry, research, & assisting on shoots. my work focuses on children's portraits & creative ventures in documenting life. i take on only a handful of very special artful wedding commissions a year. experience & references are a must.

please send a PDF cover letter, resume & 6-8 jpgs of your own work to : studio@alyssamiserendino.com

if i find your submission & thus yourself of interest, i will reach out for a one-on-one interview.

let's create energy together.

play to the beat of your own drum

there is a little gem on 22nd & michigan. it was introduced to me by mark hetzel, a friend & aspiring gifted photographer a few months back. fred anderson, the voice behind the famous velvet lounge, recently died this spring. mark & i decided to document some of the players; those that keep it running today, along with the dedicated staff. please keep it alive by supporting it … experimental jazz that makes you vibrate…

"The Velet Lounge is one of those places where they were able to play their craft, feel confident in what they were doing, and play their own music in thier own way. So I think that should be my legacy. It will be going on for generations and generations." -fred anderson

thank you mark for introducing me to this & for teaching me to see a little different with my ears.
