there are those moments when all sights, sounds, and tastes flow in a rhythm, synchronized in beauty. 

while standing in an amazing book store that came up as a gallery in chelsea ny, on my yelp iphone app, i found myself in this moment. the taste factor may have been somewhat absent, however the smell of paper was enough to intoxicate my love glands…is that possible? conor and i had made our way into printed matter : a book store that houses artists' publications along with a few old posters. to top off the bizarre & beautiful scavenger hunt i was going through in this store/gallery, my ears tuned into the music playing on the boom box – it quickly shazamed it to find out it was a record released just a week prior. it wasn't until tonight, while working to it that conor said "i swear this is by someone at animal collective," so i took a look. black noise, by panta du prince, happens to be an album by a german dj who collaborates with Noah Lennox of Animal Collective, Tyler Pope of !!! & LCD Soundsystem. i am a huge fan of animal collective and LCD Soundsystem, so it's no surprise that this is the case. like many, there are so many genres of music i adore, but this is a new release that i think is great to crank away to – whether it's working, driving, meditating to, etc…and to let you know about. enjoy.
